Mandate:<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n
Since 2017, CCFWEK has been offering services to Francophone and Francophile newcomers wishing to settle in Southwestern Ontario, particularly in the Windsor area, through the “Arrimage\/connections communautaires” program. Funded by Immigration Refugees Citizenship Canada (IRCC), this program helps to create an environment conducive to the integration of new arrivals by forging links with the community, public institutions and community organizations<\/span><\/h6>\n

Building a network<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n
The program also plays an essential role in the development of partnerships and networking with the various agencies that serve newcomers and Francophone ethnocultural groups. <\/span><\/h6>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Several support programs for newcomers have been developed thanks to the links established between CCFWEK<\/strong> and other organizations: food baskets for vulnerable families with United Way, vouchers with the Canadian Red Cross, production and distribution of anti-COVID-19 protective masks with the Windsor-Essex Congolese community (COCOWE), etc. This program is often the first contact newcomers have with Canadian services and administration and it is therefore an essential resource to facilitate their social and cultural integration<\/p>\n

Customer satisfaction surveys, referral follow-up and training are also part of the “Arrimage\/connections communautaires” program.<\/p>\n
